What is Yoni Yoga? Yoni is a word for vagina, it is a sanskrit word and it translates as Scared Portal . Yoni yoga is a feminine practice that helps us reconnect with our yoni. Through sound, movement and breath we strengthen our yoni and cultivate shakti - our sexual and life force energy. When a woman starts owning her sexuality fully something deeply is liberated in her. When a woman physically, in her body, experiences the medge of feeling Sexual and Sacred and Worthy all in one something deeply heals in her. When a woman starts cultivating a loving relationship full of respect and admiration with her yoni something deeply is shifting in her. The path of healing through our yoni is so powerful. This is the part of us woman most connected to our sexuality - and our sexuality has been repressed, shamed and capitalized on for centuries. I recently read that the pubis bones is actually called the “shame bone” in many languages. How twisted is this that such a profound and natural part of us - our sexuality - is treated in this way. ♥ “ Cultivating the sexual energy through yoni yoga and egg practice is actually cultivating the sense of feeling alive and radiant. As children we are all so radiant and full of aliveness. As we grow up we slowly get more or less stripped of this natural vibrant life force energy. The yoni practices are cultivating that radiance in me to shine bright once again. Smiling for no reason, singing, dancing, playing. And that feeling of just feeling vibrantly alive, seriously it’s better than sexual turn on or orgasm. It is feeling life itself, life-gasm! “ ♥
